Gear

I use the gear that makes my clients and myself the most creative. I live in a state where art meets tech. They’re equal partners, and ultimately, one drives the other towards artistic fulfillment and technical excellence.

Telefunken 251

This is a legendary microphone. Every singer that sings through it establishes their signature as a vocalist. It makes you sound clear and warm. Whether tracking pop, rock, soul or even hardcore vocals this mic always makes the singer smile and places the lead vocal right in the centre of the mix.

ADAM SUB 10 MK 2

The Sub 10 MK2 is essential to my “groove” workflow. It reveals everything that’s happening in the low frequencies. This speaker defines and identifies music that affects the feel of the rhythm section significantly.

Great River INV, UA 1176, Chandler TG2, UA 610 GML 8300I love the digital / analog collision. I have an Axe FX 2 Unit and also love my Marshall Plexi, Fender Princeton, Fender Deluxe and Bogner Ecstasy. Some sounds are great straight digital, others love to be sent through an amp and into a mic. I like having enough sonic flavours to enable a flexible approach.
