Belle Phoenix

I produced Belle Phoenix with Mark Plati in Toronto in 2007. I love Belle. The sweetest of souls. David Williams and Lehlo played on this record. Here’s the vid:

Electric Soft Parade

I worked on this album with Thomas and Alex White from the colossal Electric Soft Parade. My job was to press record, place mics, sleep on a barn floor and drink whiskey. Here’s the vid:

Five Guys Named Moe

I moved to the UK in 88 was signed to R.C.A in 1989 and made this vid in 1990. What were we thinking ? Regardless with a little heat @ radio and this piece of silliness we cracked the top 40 in the UK and toured our butts off. With today’s HD Cams and Final Cut tech a band can do wonders to promote their creativity and musicality. We’ve come a long way baby !! Here’s the vid:

Intervurt

I produced Union with Mark Plati. Intervurt kicked serious ass in the studio and made an awesome record. Mojito Mondays on East 6th and Ave A I still have a headache 5 years later. Here’s the vid:

Will Kevans

I did a few tunes on the same record that Dialing Tone was on 1 of which (Shoot You Down) was released as a single in the UK. We met at NXNE a few years ago. Will is a proper musician with a big heart. Here’s the vid:

Hey Gravity

I did some additional production on this record. Saw them live @ In The City in Manchester and was bitten from there. Justine is a one in a million front woman. Here’s the vid:

The Nightcrawlers

The Nightcrawlers was my next band. The label shot this in London with singer John Reid. This song went to #1 in the UK and became a house classic. The vid is rubbish and again shows us how far video has come and how a great or not so great concept can compliment the music. Here’s the vid:

Throwback Suburbia

I produced FOREPLAY with Mark Plati in Portland with the exceptionally musical Throwback Suburbia. Great guys and sick pop sensibilties !! Here’s the vid:
